American Idol Season 10: Top 9 Performance Night Recap

The theme tonight is Rock and Roll Hall of fame is a very good show because no was was terrible and this will be very hard for America. America has to vote right this time. Here is my review on tonight’s performance.

Jacob Lusk – “Man in the Mirror.” I think this is one of his great performances and a very controlled one.

Haley Reinhart – “Piece of My Heart.” She’s making great song choices now. She did a very good version on the song. She’s one of the unique contestants i’ve seen in the show and it’s good to see her improve week after week.

Casey Abrams – “Have You Ever Seen The Rain.” – This is his best performance! This is the kind of music he should be making. For me the judges made the right decision by saving him this season. He’s a very good musician and he deserved to be appreciated.

Lauren Alaina – “Natural Woman.” I think she overdone the song. Her performance kinda set her back a few steps back after a very good performance last week.

James Durbin – “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” It’s good to see him perform a slow rock song and i think that is a very good decision and it’s necessary for him to slow down this time of the competition to show his versatility.


Scotty McCreery – “That’s Alright Mama.” – It still sounded like a country song for me. Maybe it’s time to get out of his comfort zone. But still everyone on the show liked it. He still sounded good.

Pia Toscano – “River Deep Mountain High.” Finally she did not sing a ballad song this week. She really have great vocals but the stage presence was not good but she can still work that out.

Stefano Langone – “When a Man Loves a Woman.” It’s a good performance but i think he should also get out of his comfort zone this week because everyone is doing great every week.

Paul McDonald – “Folsom Prison Blues.” This is a pretty good performance and a lot of fun to watch. He did a great version of the song.

Here’s my prediction on tomorrow’s results show
100 percent safe: Casey Abrams, James Durbin, Scotty McCreery
Bottom 3: Stefano Langone, Paul McDonald, Lauren Alaina
