Casey Abrams Says Goodbye to American Idol

He's one of the best artist American Idol ever had. We know that there's more to life outside American Idol. Enjoy his unforgettable performance on American Idol.

American Idol: Top 6 Results Show Recap

Tonight we will learn who earned the least votes and who stays for the To 5. Based from our Poll today the bottom 3 are Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams and Scottie McCreery. Did Randy Jackson promoted and asked the audience to vote for James Durbin to will the whole thing? I love James Durbin but I think Randy’s action was unfair to other contestants because they are also doing their best to win “the whole thing.”

Tonight’s guest performers are Bruno Mars and Crystal Bowersox and it was also announced that the American Idol 2011 Tour will have 44 stops from early July until early September.

Did you vote for your favorite?

American Idol Season 10 Bottom 3:
Jacob Lusk
Casey Abrams
Scotty McCreery

Eliminated: Casey Abrams

I don’t think this is the time for Casey Abrams to leave the competition. Good to have a very talented artist in the show. Best of luck to Casey Abrams. Did America made the right decision of not voting for Casey? Share your thoughts.

American Idol: Top 6 Performance Show Recap

This week’s performance show wasn’t that boring as I thought it would be. The Top 6 contestants are great to put up a very good show tonight. The Idol hopefuls also performed duets. Randy also had a “winner prediction” when he said James Durbin could win the whole thing. Is it early to make a prediction when everyone else is doing great? Baby Face also helped the Idol hopefuls during the rehearsals.

Jacob Lusk – “Oh No, Not My Baby.” At this point of the competition, Jacob should outshine everybody because he is doing the same thing each and every week. His vocals was great but he needs to take risks to stay in the competition.

Lauren Alaina – “Where You Lead.” She performed the song well. But i wasn't jumping from my seat on her performance. She can sing anything.

Scotty McCreery – “You’ve Got a Friend.” His vocals was good. I still don’t think he came out of his comfort zone.

James Durbin – “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.” I think this is the best performance of James this season. This is his moment and he proves that he can sing anything, he can reach the highest note, he can do ballad and he’s a total performer.

Casey Abrams – “Hi-De-Ho.” Casey again showed his versatility in his performance tonight. He’s musically talented and yes the sexy sax player is there that will make Steven Tyler enjoy the performance even more and Casey made Steven Tyler's scalp itch.

Haley Reinhart – “Beautiful.” Haley sang the sang without any growling and I guess it’s time for her to show her talent without the growling. She still manage to sound great. She’s doing good each week but Randy is still trying to remove her in the competition.

Duets:
Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart – “I Feel the Earth Move.”  They have an amazing chemistry and they really sounded good together.  I hope to hear more of their duets.

Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina – this is not their best duet but they still sound good together. They do not have the same chemistry as Haley and Casey.

Jacob Lusk and James Durbin - The dancing was terrible but the vocals was good. They can really hit very high notes!

I will not say who’s my bottom 3 this week. They are all good. America it’s your choice and please vote for the deserving contestant. What's your thoughts on tonight's show?

American Idol: Top 7 Performance Show Recap

American Idol Top 7 took songs from the 21st Century and I can say that the Idol hopefuls made a very great show tonight. The eliminated contestants opened the show and I’m happy to see them once again on American Idol stage. Here is my performance recap. I hope you also enjoyed the show!

Scotty McCreery – “Swingin” by Leann Rimes.  That song was originally sang by John Anderson but Leann Rimes covered it. I hope one day i could see him get out of his comfort zone.

James Durbin – “Uprising” by Muse. He has been the most consistent on the show. He can really hit those high notes and you will never know when it’s coming. He is full of surprises and he’s not afraid to take risks. Great job James!

Haley Reinhart – “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. This is her best performance in the show. The song really fits her style and her rendition of the song is really great. Adele is one of the most unique and great artist we’ve ever had and I know Haley put justice on the song. She made me love Adele more. Haley has been the underdog in the show and I’m hoping not to see her in the bottom 3 tomorrow based on her performance tonight.

Jacob Lusk – “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross. I hope I could see Jacob do an upbeat song because if he will do the same type of song each other week, he might put himself to the bottom 3 and might leave the show next. In the beginning of the song he cannot hear the piano. Is that a sabotage from the show?

Casey Abrams – “Harder to Breathe” by Maroon 5. When I heard his song choice I thought he will screw up but he did not screw up at all. For me he did a great job with the arrangement of the song and the kiss on JLO’s cheeks was a very surprising one. He just kissed the most beautiful woman in the world! What a lucky guy!

Stefano Langone – “Closer.” By Ne-Yo. I thought this is not the best night for Stefano vocally and the dancing was very awkward. Everbody is doing well in the competition she should pick it up and do a great version of a song.  He barely sang tonight.

Lauren Alaina – “Born to Fly’ by Sara Evans. Her performance today was just Ok, a very safe one. She can sing anything and I hope she can sing and arrange a great song next time.

America should vote right tonight. Nobody is safe so you have to vote for your favorite. See you tomorrow! What’s your thoughts on tonight’s show?

American Idol Season 10: Top 8 Results Show Recap

Tonight on American Idol we will know which singer is sent home and who goes on to be part of American Idol Season 10 Top 7. I hope America voted for the deserving Idol hopefuls. Here are the results from tonight’s show.

Bottom 3:
Haley Reinhart
Stefano Langone
Paul McDonald

Eliminated: Paul McDonald

He has been my favorite since I heard him sing “Black Bird” with Kendra Chantelle. He’s one of the most unique contestants American Idol ever had. He has been on the top of our Poll yet he did not receive the votes that he needed to stay. Best of luck Paul. See you on tour!

American Idol Season 10: Top 8 Performance Show Recap

Another great show tonight. Great performance from all of the Top 8. It’s a good thing that the American Idol hopefuls are following their heart when it comes to song choices. They are picking songs that suits their personalities and songs that will show their artistic side. I know the results show tomorrow will be a dramatic one because everyone is doing great! So America vote for your favorite! Here are my thoughts on tonight’s performance.

Paul McDonald - “Old Time Rock and Roll.” Paul is really entertaining and I love his stage performance. His uniqueness will let him stay in the competition.

Lauren Alaina – “The Climb.” I don’t think this is a good song choice for Lauren. But I see the idea of Lauren, to get the attention of young voters who could really connect with the song. But she sounded good with the song.

Stefano Langone – “End of the Road.” He sang the song beautifully and he connected with the audience this time. I can see Stefano do great week after week.

Scotty Mccreery – “Cross My Heart.” I see that Scotty came back from his roots by singing another country song. I think America will still vote for him whatever song he picks.

Casey Abrams – “Nature Boy.” I think he made the right decision of following his heart when it comes to song choice. He knows what he can do with his voice and he really showed his artistic side with this song. For me, this is his best performance of the season. He was given a standing ovation from the judges and he deserves it.

Haley Reinhart – “Call Me.” I disagree with the judges. I believe she made the song look cool and she nailed the song. She made it on her own. I still hope the girls will stay this week.

Jacob Lusk – “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” Another great performance by Jacob but I would like to see his versatility. If he stays for another week I hope we see that other side of Jacob. The last 3 notes that he sang was fantastic.

James Durbin – “Heavy Metal.” Like Casey, James followed what he wants to do this week by rocking the stage. He really has mad vocals. He can totally reach those high notes! And that was a good show ender. I thought I was watching a James Durbin concert.

Great performance by the American Idol contestants. Another heartbreaking results show tomorrow. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite. See you tomorrow guys! I will not post my bottom 3 this week because they all did great =)

American Idol Season 10: Top 9 Performance Night Recap

The theme tonight is Rock and Roll Hall of fame is a very good show because no was was terrible and this will be very hard for America. America has to vote right this time. Here is my review on tonight’s performance.

Jacob Lusk – “Man in the Mirror.” I think this is one of his great performances and a very controlled one.

Haley Reinhart – “Piece of My Heart.” She’s making great song choices now. She did a very good version on the song. She’s one of the unique contestants i’ve seen in the show and it’s good to see her improve week after week.

Casey Abrams – “Have You Ever Seen The Rain.” – This is his best performance! This is the kind of music he should be making. For me the judges made the right decision by saving him this season. He’s a very good musician and he deserved to be appreciated.

Lauren Alaina – “Natural Woman.” I think she overdone the song. Her performance kinda set her back a few steps back after a very good performance last week.

James Durbin – “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” It’s good to see him perform a slow rock song and i think that is a very good decision and it’s necessary for him to slow down this time of the competition to show his versatility.

American Idol Season 10 Update: Rock and Roll night on Wednesday

Monday, April 4, 2011

After performing the hit songs of Elton John, Naima and Thiadid not get enough votes they needed to stay in the competition. We’ve seen 4 girls eliminated  from the competition. Boys are really working hard to stay in the game.

This coming week the Idol hopefuls will be performing songs from the Rock and Roll hall of fame.  Scotty, Jacob and Lauren need to find a great song and do a great version of it. This will also bring a lot of pressure on James to nail a very good rock and roll song. Guitar legend Jeff Beck will be there on Wednesday night to witness the talent of the contestants and season four’s rock star Constantine Maroulis will be on the show on Friday. This will be a very exciting show. See you on Wednesday!
